Davidovich Fokina had a dream week in Mallorca last week, as he clinched his maiden ATP Tour title. The Spaniard had previously complained of fatigue heading into his Round Two match, but didn’t show any signs of that, as he comfortably swept aside Fabian Marozsan in straight sets. 

He should be able to get the better of Marton Fucsovics, who only really progressed to Round Three at Wimbledon due to Learner Tien struggling with sickness during their Round Two match on Wednesday.

Sinner looked back to his best in a straight sets win over Nuno Borges in Round Two at Wimbledon, and he’ll be keen to build on that moving forward. The world number 1 is the man to beat this year, and if he can cope with the heat, he should win comfortably again on Friday. 

He’s up against Jenson Brooksby, who can be a tricky opponent when at his best. The American has come through two matches against players that aren’t suited to grass, and he’ll be on the back foot for the majority of the contest against Sinner, who is a class apart on the ATP Tour.

Hubert Hurkacz has had some streaky form this year, but he seems to be putting a nice run together at Wimbledon. The Pole has beaten Casper Ruud and Sebastian Ofner in straight sets to reach Round Three, and he’ll fancy his chances of causing Tommy Paul plenty of problems. 

Hurkacz’s serve is a real threat on grass, and he’s tough to break for any opponent. Tommy Paul is a player that has caught the eye on grass over the years, and with seven wins and just two losses to his name on this surface so far this season, he’ll make it tough for Hurkacz on Friday. 

This should be a closely-fought battle though, and it really wouldn’t be at all surprising to see it go the distance.

Coco Gauff has had some nice runs over the years at Wimbledon, and she’ll be eager to reach the later stages of the tournament in this year’s event. 

The American needed three sets to come through her Round Two match, but should be back to her best against fellow American, Claire Liu. These two have met before, and Gauff has won both meetings in straight sets, so we’re expecting a similar outcome at Wimbledon on Friday. 

If Gauff can keep her double faults to a minimum, then it should be a comfortable victory for the world number seven.
