Aston Villa v Arsenal Player Boost @ 10.00

Drawing fouls is a significant part of John McGinn’s game, with the Villa skipper winning 25 in total in the Premier League so far this season (2.10 per game).

The Scotsman is adept at getting his backside between his opponent and the ball and regularly goes to the ground in order to win fouls from the referee.

The energetic midfielder is also tenacious in the tackle himself, committing 18 league fouls this season (1.51 per 90), and is unlikely to be slow in getting stuck against leaders Arsenal at Villa Park.

England international Morgan Rogers has both committed and drawn at least one foul in his last five Premier League appearances for Aston Villa.

He has been fouled 16 times in total in the Premier League this season (1.16 per 90) and has committed 16 himself (1.16 per 90).

The attacking midfielder has been involved in at least three fouls in four of his last five Premier League games for Villa and is set for centre stage again when league leaders Arsenal come to town.

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is on a hot streak when it comes to hitting shots on target at the moment, recording at least one in his last 10 matches in a row for club and country.

Saka enters this match against Villa having registered two shots on target in his last game against Brentford, despite only entering the fray at the Emirates as a 60th minute substitute.

Overall this season Saka has averaged 1.21 shots on target per 90 in the Premier League, but his form has clearly been picking up as the campaign has worn on - testing the opposition goalkeeper on 15 occasions in his last eight appearances for Arsenal in all competitions (1.88 per game).

The winger is in form at the moment and I fancy his chances in an individual battle against Villa left-back Lucas Digne who Saka boasts a significant pace advantage against.

Andy's Saturday Accumulator @ 4.03

Amid a sticky spell of form, St Mirren look like vulnerable favourites when they play host to Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday. The Saints are without a league win since late September and, as a consequence, have slid into the relegation play-off spot.

Stephen Robinson’s side have been uncharacteristically shaky at the back this season, evidenced by the fact that they have bagged just two clean sheets across their first 14 top-flight fixtures of the campaign.

More worryingly, St Mirren have conceded two goals or more in five of their last six Scottish Premiership matches, leaking three goals away at both Dundee and Aberdeen since last weekend.  With that in mind, I think Dundee United look well placed to strike at least once in Paisley on Saturday afternoon.

Jim Goodwin’s side - who scored twice when drawing with Rangers on Wednesday night - have made the net bulge in 11 of their 14 Scottish Premiership matches this season, including six of their seven games away from home.

Given the contrasting form that these two teams are currently experiencing, I was surprised to see Partick Thistle priced up as the outsiders for their Scottish Championship clash with Ayr on Saturday.

The Jags are the form team in the second tier at the moment, winning five of their last seven matches to move joint-top of the table. Partick claimed a statement win over league leaders  St Johnstone a fortnight ago, and they backed that up by edging out Dunfermline last midweek. Therefore, Mark Wilson’s high-flying side certainly won't be fazed by the prospect of travelling to Somerset Park to take on Ayr on Saturday.

While Scott Brown’s side are currently sitting 3rd in the standings, their solitary victory across their last six matches came against bottom of the table Airdrie, not to mention they fell to a 2-1 defeat to Partick Thistle across that six-game sequence in this season’s reverse fixture.

So with all things considered, title-chasing Thistle hold plenty of appeal on the Double Chance on Saturday.

Barcelona’s 3-0 defeat against Chelsea in the Champions League was one of the few occasions where Barcelona have failed to score under Hansi Flick. The Catalan side have bounced back to winning ways with back-to-back 3-1 victories against Alaves and Atletico Madrid.

You can never trust Barcelona to keep a clean sheet; they’ve only kept four in LaLiga this term and have notably conceded 12 goals across their seven away games in the Spanish top flight. Betis have netted 11 goals across their seven home games this term - so they possess the appropriate firepower to punish Barcelona’s high line and subsequently vulnerable backline.

Betis have seen BTTS in four of their last five matches across all competitions, winning three of the games in this sequence. All three head-to-head meetings between these sides last season saw BTTS, and Barcelona’s stubbornness with their risky approach should see more goals at Estadio La Cartuja.

Luzern are a side that come up quite often in the goals algo with the Swiss Super League side seeing 3+ goals in 15 of their 18 competitive matches across all competitions this season.

This includes seeing 3+ goals in each of their last five matches in the Swiss Super League, with their latest assignment ending in a 4-1 victory in the cup.

These sides faced off right at the start of the season with that clash producing three goals as Thun ran out 2-1 winners. That game had the potential to produce even more goals with the sides combining for an xG of 3.95, most of which was amassed by Thun (2.59).

Luzern are actually much stronger on the road than they are at home with only two defeats from their seven away matches this season. These games have produced 24 goals (3.42 per game), offering further promise when looking for at least three goals in this contest.
