Bayern Munich v PSG Bet Builder Tips
Neither Bayern Munich nor PSG have made the start they would have wished for their Champions League campaign, making Tuesday’s clash between the clubs at the Allianz Arena of vital importance. Bayern are third-top scorers in the competition with 11 goals but have already suffered two defeats.
Vincent Kompany’s side are in better shape than PSG, though. The Ligue 1 champions are facing the very real prospect of an early exit. They have picked up only four points to date, and Bayern and Manchester City still to come are in desperate need of points.
⭐ Bayern Munich v PSG Best Bets
No Bayern Munich player has been fouled more than left-back Alphonso Davies in the Champions League this season, with the Canada star drawing eight fouls.
The 24-year-old has been phenomenally consistent when it comes to drawing fouls in the Champions League this season. In each of his previous four outings, he has won two exactly.
He’ll be operating down the same wing as Ousmane Dembele, who has committed 1.72 fouls per 90, and Achraf Hakimi, who has committed 1.5 fouls per 90, in the Champions League this season.

🔍 Bayern Munich v PSG Players to Watch
🔵 Achraf Hakimi
According to many critics in France, Achraf Hakimi has been PSG’s best attacker this season. This has been said only half-jokingly.
The former Borussia Dortmund right-back is fifth among all players for shots in the Champions League having had 17 this season at an average of 4.25 per 90. His raids forward down the flank have been relentless. He has had at least two shots in each of PSG’s previous European outings and is a fine price to continue that trend in Munich.
Indeed, in three of his four previous Champions League matches he has had at least four shots, which makes the price for 2+ shots very attractive here.
🔴 Jamal Musiala
If Harry Kane’s scoring exploits have been winning the headlines, Musiala offers better value to have at least one shot on target, with the Germany international posting 1.92 shots on target per 90 in the Champions League to date.
In his two previous starts in the competition, he has mustered at least two shots on target on both occasions.
Against Augsburg on Friday, meanwhile, Musiala was a huge threat, with ten shots and six on target. He has had at least one shot on target in nine of his last 11 starts for club and country.
🔵 Willian Pacho
PSG centre-back Willian Pacho has committed five fouls across his four Champions League matches this season at a rate of 1.25 per 90.
Although he has impressed in general since making a summer move from Eintracht Frankfurt, he conceded three of these free-kicks under pressure against Arsenal at the Emirates. Bayern are likely to put him in similar difficulties. He will go head-to-head with Harry Kane, who is drawing 1.5 fouls per 90 in the Champions League.
Against Bayern last season in the Bundesliga, Pacho gave up at least one foul at home and two at the Allianz Arena.

💻 Bayern Munich v PSG Form and Tactics
Bayern Munich have worked to dispel any doubts over the wisdom of appointing Vincent Kompany in the summer as they have been restored to their familiar place at the top of the Bundesliga and are on a winning streak of six successive games. During this run, they have scored 17 and have not conceded.
Bayern are a side that is used to dictating games. In each of their last six fixtures, they have, astonishingly, had at least 72% of the ball. They have never had less than a 60% share of possession this season.
Offensively, they are dominated by the trio of Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise, who have scored 36 of their 53 goals across all competitions. Kane may be their runaway top scorer on 20 goals, yet he has leaned heavily on penalties to reach this tally, with eight coming from the spot.
Making Bayern tick behind these players, meanwhile, is Joshua Kimmich. The midfielder has played every minute of every game and boasts 76 shot-creating actions at an average of 5.07 per 90. This raises to 5.75 in the Champions League alone.
Musiala, though, is the real creative menace, with 7.37 shot-creating actions and 1.55 goal-creating actions per 90 in European football this term. The challenge with Bayern is that they carry such a litany of threats across the board, that they are difficult to stop.

PSG are another possession-hungry team that likes to dominate the ball. Across their four Champions League matches, they have never had less than 60% of the ball. Their issue has been turning this control of games into chances.
Luis Enrique’s side have been hopelessly inefficient in attack, with their lack of true No.9 telling. Marco Asensio and Lee Kang-in have both been ineffective in the false 9 role in Europe, while Ousmane Dembele is notoriously unpredictable in the final third. Bradley Barcola, meanwhile, remains too raw to shoulder the attacking burden at this level.
Despite poor results, PSG have generated 7.1xG across their games to date and have conceded only 1.8xGA. These are not figures that should have them in a desperate situation, yet inefficiency at both ends of the park is killing them. They have had second most shots in the Champions League but have the worst G-xG with -5.1.
The other major concern has been in goal, where Gianluigi Donnarumma has conceded five times from just 3.4PSxG. In other words, he has conceded 47% more goals than would be expected.
Ironically, one of the few goalkeepers to perform worse than the Italy international so far in the Champions League has been Manuel Neuer, who in conceding seven from 3.8PSxG, is giving up 84% more goals than the average.
