📈 Leicester v Hull Form & Stats

Leicester are in a precarious position, and relegation to League One is looking like a strong likelihood for the former Premier League champions. The six-point deduction imposed in February for PSR breaches has massively affected them, but even without that, Leicester have massively underperformed this campaign. The Foxes have failed to win any of their last six matches; their 1-0 loss against Portsmouth was particularly disappointing.

Hull have also been in a bit of a rough patch of form, and their 1-1 draw against Birmingham last time out made it four matches without a win. However, they remain in the top six and are in a much better position than Leicester. They are above Wrexham by just two points, which makes this a massive game for them in their hopes of securing a playoff spot.

Their away form has been solid this season, and Hull have picked up the fifth-most points in the division on their travels. They have fared well against Leicester in recent years, with two wins and one draw in the last three competitive meetings, and another positive result here will go a long way for Hull as they look to bat off pressure from Wrexham and Derby for sixth place.

📔 Leicester v Hull Formation & Team News

Joe Gelhardt played in an advanced midfield position just behind Oli McBurnie against Birmingham last time out, and he managed to get on the scoresheet. That saw Matt Crooks drop into a deeper midfield role, and Jakirovic could stick with a similar eleven again here. Cody Drameh remains injured, so Paddy McNair and Lewie Coyle look set to continue in the fullback spots, with Semi Ajayi and John Egan also at the back.

Patson Daka looks set to lead the line here for the Foxes, with either Jordan Ayew or Bobby De Cordova-Reid playing alongside him. Abdul Fatawu and Stephy Mavididi have been two familiar faces on the flank for Leicester, and they will hope to contribute in the final third here.

With Caleb Okoli out injured, Jamaal Lascelles and Jannik Vestergaard should continue in the centre back spots, with Ricardo Pereira to captain his side from a right back position.
