🏆
Competition: Premier League

The Premier League title race is in full swing and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will be looking to keep in touch with Liverpool. Five points ahead of the holders, who have a game in hand, will be hoping Newcastle can get back on track this weekend. As ever we have all the televised Premier League games covered with Premier League bet builders, alongside Premier League accumulator tips covering all of Saturday’s games.
It’s not just Premier League football either, as the site features a wide range of other expert football betting tips and predictions across the website. The Magpies finally ended their poor run of form with a win over arch-rivals Sunderland in the FA Cup. Previously, they had lost their last four matches, which included defeats to Luton and Nottingham Forest.
The results have left them languishing in ninth place, out of Europe and with plenty of work to do if they are to recapture last year’s run of form.
Man City, on the other hand, have returned from the Club World Cup and picked up where they left off. Wins over Everton and Sheffield United in the Premier League, before hammering Huddersfield 5-0 in the FA Cup have been nothing short of perfect.
The odds suggest everything points towards another Man City victory on Saturday evening, despite Newcastle’s fairly good home form. Wins over Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United and Fulham offer a certain level of hope.

🥅 Match stats: Visitors to leave with all three points
It’s never easy going to St James’ Park, even when Newcastle have plenty of injuries to contend with. However, their 3-0 win over Sunderland will have instilled a certain level of confidence before facing the champions of England.
However, the run of form Man City are on is simply frightening at present. Guardiola’s side haven’t lost since their 1-0 defeat at Villa Park, and are now eight unbeaten.
To make it even better for Guardiola, Kevin de Bruyne has recently returned from his lengthy injury, and although he probably won’t start on Saturday, it’ll be a huge confidence boost for the rest of the squad to know he’s on his way back.
With so many key players out, Newcastle’s good home form may take another hit. Harvey Barnes, Kieran Trippier and Callum Wilson are a few of the star players currently sidelined and with absences often come consequences. Man City, although odds-on, appear generously priced to kickstart the bet builder.
Predictions:
⚽ Man City to win @ 1.50
🎯 Shooting stats: Argentine to carry on leading the line
Many feared for Man City when Erling Haaland was ruled out for some time, but their plucky Argentine striker has stepped up and shown why he’s more than capable of delivering.
Julian Alvarez has scored five goals in his last four appearances across all competitions, and is currently the man in charge of penalty kicks.
He scored from the spot when Man City came from behind to comfortably beat Everton, before consecutive goals from open play against Sheffield United and Huddersfield.
Having won every trophy there possibly is by the age of 23, he is still on a mission to convince everyone he is world class and capable of keeping Haaland out of the team, rather than playing second fiddle or being pushed out wide.
Against Huddersfield, the Argentine had three shots, four v Sheffield United and five against Everton. He’s reliable, and is on a superb goalscoring run which can’t be ignored.
Predictions:
⚽ Julian Alvarez to score anytime @ 2.30
⚽ Julian Alvarez to have 2+ shots on target @ 2.30
🟨 Cards and Fouls stats: Brazilian to be booked
With Man City destined to dominate throughout the 90 minutes, it’s best to look towards a Newcastle player to pick up a card.
Although Bruno Guimaraes has massively impressed during his stint in the Premier League, he has managed to pick up a yellow in his last five consecutive matches. However, as one was in the FA Cup against Sunderland, he is eligible to play at the weekend.
As Newcastle prefer to play with a midfield three, the 26-year-old may be exploited in the middle of the park as Guardiola’s side get into their usual passing rhythm.
Another feisty player within Howe’s side is Anthony Gordon, who has picked up a couple of yellow cards in recent weeks.
There was no surprise to see him brandished with a card against Sunderland in the recent derby, he may be frustrated if Man City comfortably go ahead and take charge.
With Newcastle’s form continuing to dip, frustration is creeping into their games and their midfielders look vulnerable and therefore worth targeting for cards bets.
Predictions:
⚽ Bruno Guimaraes to be carded @ 2.88
⚽ Anthony Gordon to be carded @ 3.60
