Pisa v Como Bet Builder Tips & Match Predictions

Fuelled by a passion for sport and a sharp instinct for uncovering patterns in data, beating the bookies became the perfect outlet for my competitive streak. Now I take pleasure in sharing my finds with ABC punters. I enjoy finding niche angles and betting value in a range of markets and leagues, my favourite being in Serie A.
Como set a high bar last season, finishing 10th immediately after having achieved promotion, and they’ve stepped it up another notch this time round, throwing their hat in the ring for Champions League qualification.
Pisa’s Serie A stint has been significantly more turbulent, and with only 12 points on the board, a return to Serie B looks likely.

Pisa v Como Best Bet Double
- Tuesday 6th January

📈 Pisa v Como Form & Stats
Pisa have now gone seven matches without a win, registering three draws and four losses over that stretch. The chances were never going to come thick and fast this season, which has rendered their persistent wastefulness in front of goal a serious dilemma for Alberto Gilardino’s men. They’ve underperformed their xG by 6.4 goals - the second most of any side in Serie A, trailing only Fiorentina in that respect.
Last time out, Pisa held Genoa to a 1-1 draw, which they were pretty good value for, although at no point did they really look like coming away with all three points. The sides combined to produce just 1.16xG, roughly evenly split between the two.
Como have found significantly more consistency, fuelled by a blend of Cesc Fabregas’ fluid setup and Nico Paz’s individual brilliance. The youngster has undeniably been the league’s best player, leading the assist charts and trailing only Christian Pulisic and Lautaro Martinez for goals.
As a unit, Como have avoided defeat in 15 of their 18 games, and find themselves only three points adrift of the Champions League places.
Most recently, the Lariani comfortably saw off Udinese in a 1-0 victory, which, if anything, flattered their opponents. Como created 2.24xG from their 15 shots, and dominated 62% of possession. At the other end, Udinese mustered just three attempts all game, rarely troubling Como, who looked very self-assured throughout.
