Bournemouth v Brighton
“Brighton have picked up four wins from their last six encounters with Bournemouth in the Premier League and currently sit four points and six places above the Cherries. Of those six meetings the Seagulls have been in front at the break or at the end of the match on six occasions, so you can see just why we’ve backed Brighton to win either half at the Vitality Stadium this weekend.”
Arsenal v Nottingham Forest
“Martin Odegaard made a welcome return to the starting XI for Arsenal against Chelsea before the international break. Not only did the Gunners captain complete 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge, but he also provided an assist.
The Norwegian ace was also fouled once against Chelsea and a repeat looks worth siding with on Saturday. Odegaard has been fouled exactly once in each of his four appearances for Arsenal in the Premier League this season.”
Aston Villa v Crystal Palace
“Although Aston Villa’s form has taken a turn for the worse in recent weeks, their goalscoring ability is always an attribute that can quickly revive their fortunes. The Villa Park outfit average 1.55 goals per game before the visit of Crystal Palace and will be favourites to pick up a home win over the Eagles.”
Everton v Brentford
“Despite Everton being favourites to score first, there’s strong value in backing Brentford. While the Toffees’ odds to score first suggest they are favourites to do so, Brentford’s away form tells a different story. Although they are yet to earn a point on the road and average just 0.8 goals per away game compared to a robust three at home, Brentford have remarkably scored first in four of their five away fixtures. The only exception was against Liverpool, who boast the league’s best defence.
In contrast, Everton have struggled to make an early impact at Goodison Park. They’ve conceded first in three of their five home games and haven’t managed to score in the first half at home this season. Given these stats, backing Brentford to break the deadlock offers excellent value at 2.1.“
Fulham v Wolves
“Wolves are not short of an attacking threat, and much of that owes to the threat carried by Cunha. The attacker is joint first in Gary O’Neil’s squad with 11 shots on target in the Premier League this season, with 1.12 per 90. He has had shots on target in seven of his ten outings in the competition thus far.
The Brazilian’s chance of getting a shot on target are multiplied by a high shot count. He has had 31 shots in total – more than twice the number of any other Wolves player.
Last season he scored at Craven Cottage in a 3-2 defeat.”
