His most likely direct opponents will be Brentford’s Danish pair, Norgaard and Damsgaard, who average 1.03 and 0.89 fouls drawn per 90, respectively.

We also expect Adams’ defensive midfield partner, Ryan Christie, to be penalised by the ref on at least one occasion. Christie has averaged 1.83 fouls per 90 minutes this season, sinning at least once in 11 of his last 14 matches.

He committed three fouls and received a card for his troubles in the reverse fixture against Brentford, with the aforementioned Damsgaard his most likely opponent this Saturday.

Brentford’s opponents have been awarded an average of 2.14 cards, exceeding the 1.5 mark in 19 out of their 28 league games.

Very few sides can top Bournemouth’s average of 6.21 corners per league game, with the Cherries managing at least six in each of their last four games.

There’s no reason to suggest they won’t be able to at least match this total on Saturday, given Brentford have conceded 6.61 corners per match this season – the most of any side in the Premier League.

By means of comparison, Brentford have averaged just 4.57 corners per game, ranking 13th with regard to that metric. Bournemouth’s average of 5.14 corners conceded is the 8th lowest rate in the league.

With Bournemouth averaging 2.58 cards per game, backing them to receive the most cards is a wise choice, particularly given no side averages more fouls per game than The Bees’ 13.8.

That’s in stark contrast to Brentford who boast the cleanest record in the league, averaging just 1.47 cards and only 7.86 fouls per game.

This was a winner in the reverse fixture as Bournemouth received four yellow cards and committed 16 fouls, doubling Brentford’s disciplinary stats which saw them pick up two cards from eight fouls.

Amongst the best value on offer is in backing Nathan Collins to commit at least one foul on Saturday.

Evanilson will be Bournemouth’s likely starting striker, which is sure to make Collins’ life even harder, as evidenced by the forward’s average of 2.28 fouls drawn per 90 in the league – the most of any regular Bournemouth starter.

Bournemouth league matches this season have produced an average of 2.89 goals with this selection coming home in 18 out of 28. Additionally, six of their last seven have seen fewer than four goals scored, with their 3-1 win over Southampton remaining the outlier, despite the teams creating a combined total of under two expected goals.

Brentford’s games have been slightly more intriguing affairs, averaging 3.29 goals scored, although this still leaves us with plenty of leeway in this selection. The selection has come home in six of their most recent seven.
