England v Senegal Bet Builder Tips

Our expert has put together two bet builders for Tuesday's friendly between England and Senegal, coming in at 2/1 and 8/1. We also have further in-depth coverage of this game in our England v Senegal Betting Preview.

Ismaila Sarr to have 1+ Shots

Sarr is very well priced to have at least one shot against England on Tuesday night. He heads into this match fresh from scoring against Ireland in a 1-1 draw with England’s neighbours last time out.

During the 24/25 Premier League season with Crystal Palace, Sarr took 59 shots across 38 games, averaging 1.96 per 90 minutes. His pace and ability to run behind defences could trouble England, who showed some vulnerability in this area during their 1-0 win over Andorra. While Andorra lacked the quality to capitalise, Senegal’s attacking talent should be more clinical in front of goal.

With 15 goals in 60 international appearances, Sarr has been a consistent threat for Senegal in recent years. His speed could exploit England’s slower backline, giving him a good chance to record at least one shot in this friendly. Occasionally deployed centrally for his country, this role could further boost his chances of getting a shot away.

Noni Madueke to have 1+ Shots on Target

Madueke stood out as England’s best performer in their narrow 1-0 victory over Andorra. While much of the team faced criticism for a lacklustre display, he earned plaudits for his energetic contributions on the left flank - a role he had been filling for Chelsea towards the end of the season. His performance included an assist and three shots, two of which were on target, proving he remains a goal threat even from wide areas.

Across his 32 Premier League appearances in the 24/25 campaign, Madueke averaged 1.41 shots on target per 90 minutes - the highest of any Chelsea player. This consistency in testing the goalkeeper highlights his attacking intent, regardless of his position on the pitch.

Given his recent form for both club and country, Madueke has shown he can be a reliable source of shots. His willingness to take on defenders and drive into dangerous areas makes him a player to watch, even when operating from the wing.

Over 1.5 Goals

England posted an xG of 4.00 in their 1-0 win over Andorra on Saturday evening. They had 20 shots in the game, with half of these efforts finding the target, England should have been more clinical with the quality of chances that fell their way, especially when considering the calibre of opposition they were playing against.

England have seen 2+ goals in each of their other two qualifying matches against Latvia (3-0) and Albania (2-0), with both games being played at Wembley. This match will take place at the City Ground, but it’s still in familiar surroundings for the Three Lions.

Senegal have seen 2+ goals in three of their last five matches across all competitions, including their most recent game. Senegal do have a stubborn backline, but given the attacking quality that is present on both sides, we should see goals here in a slightly looser environment, given the fact that it is a friendly.

8/1 Level 2 Bet Builder
  • England v Senegal
  • International Friendly
  • 19:45
3 Selections @ 8.50

Jude Bellingham to Score or Assist

Jude Bellingham looked determined to get on the scoresheet against Andorra last time out, he had three of England’s 10 shots on target in the game and also managed to create three chances for his teammates.

He looks to have been tested with a free role by Thomas Tuchel, which sees the Real Madrid star pick up dangerous positions in and around the box. Bellingham is most threatening when he arrives late into the box to get on the end of deliveries from wide areas, with his imposing physical profile making him a target to pick out in the penalty area.

Bellingham has picked up one assist so far across England’s three qualifying games but he will be eager to add to this record, just as he did during the 24/25 campaign in which he registered eight goal contributions across his 17 appearances for the Three Lions (four goals, four assists).

Iliman Ndiaye to have 2+ Shots

Ndiaye is part of a stacked Senegal frontline that has the potential to trouble England’s defence. He averaged 1.36 shots per 90 for a defensively minded Everton side during the 24/25 season, showcasing his ability to create chances even in a conservative setup. His attacking instincts could prove particularly dangerous if given space in the wide areas. England will need to be wary of Ndiaye’s threat, especially if Thomas Tuchel experiments with his lineup, as he did against Andorra.

On that occasion, Curtis Jones was deployed as an inverted fullback, leaving gaps that Senegal’s wingers could potentially exploit, with more efficiency than Andorra did. Ndiaye’s willingness to take on shots makes him a constant danger, and England’s defensive setup will need to be disciplined to contain him.

His ability to find space and fire off multiple shots per game means he’s more than capable of punishing any defensive lapses. Senegal’s attacking depth ensures that Ndiaye won’t be the only threat, with this selection staying alive with Sub On Play On, should he be subbed off.

England to Win

England have won all three of their games under Thomas Tuchel so far, without conceding a goal. The quality of those opponents hasn't been the best, but Tuchel is still the first ever England manager to win his first three games to nil, which suggests that the Three Lions’ performances should catch up with their results soon.

Senegal will be a good test for England to see where they are under Tuchel, and how much work is required before the World Cup next year. Senegal come into this game having failed to beat Ireland in a friendly, drawing the game 1-1. England should have more quality and depth than Senegal, who will certainly offer England their greatest challenge so far under Thomas Tuchel, but this probably won’t be enough to record their first ever international win over England.

The most recent meeting between the sides took place in the World Cup back in 2022. England managed to come away 3-0 winners, and can be trusted to be on the right side of the result again here.
