💥 This Weekend’s Player Tackles Accumulator Tips
Leicester v Chelsea
💥 Over 1.5 Wout Faes Tackles
📅
Kick Off: Saturday 23rd November at 12:30
📊
Odds: 2.25
Wout Faes has made 16 tackles in his last 7 games for Leicester, managing at least 2 in 5 of those matches. The big-haired Belgian is no stranger to getting stuck in and averaged 1.8 tackles per game during his last Premier League campaign for the Foxes. Only one side are making more tackles in the division than Leicester’s average of 21.2 per game and with Chelsea likely to dominate the ball here, Faes will be kept busy.
Chelsea are drawing 16.8 tackles per game which isn’t a huge average, however, in league trips on the road their opponents are dispossessing them 19.2 times per game. Faes will be tasked with containing Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer who have been dispossessed 2.17 times per 90 combined this season. The last time Faes faced Chelsea in a league fixture he made 3 tackles.

Tottenham v Man City
💥 Over 1.5 Pape Sarr Tackles
📅
Kick Off: Saturday 23rd November at 17:30
📊
Odds: 2.0
With Rodrigo Bentancur facing a 7-game spell on the sidelines, Pape Sarr will need to take on more defensive duties in the Spurs midfield. The Senegal international has found minutes hard to come by this season but has averaged 2.28 tackles per 90 across all competitions when has been on the pitch. That includes making 3 tackles against City from the bench in the EFL Cup just a few weeks back.
Man City draw 17.6 tackles per game this season and the last 2 head-to-heads with Ange Postecoglou’s side have seen Spurs make 18 and 23 tackles. Within those games, Bentancur has been the defensive linchpin and in his 6 appearances against City, he’s made 14 tackles with 5 last time out in the aforementioned EFL Cup tie. With Sarr having to replace those numbers, this looks a lovely price for him to make at least 2 tackles.
Liverpool v Southampton
💥 Over 1.5 Joe Gomez Tackles
📅
Kick Off: Sunday 24th November at 14:00
📊
Odds: 2.0
A key part of Arne Slot’s revolution at Anfield has been Liverpool’s defensive solidity that has seen them concede a league-low 6 goals in 11 games. One of the success stories of those games has been Trent Alexander-Arnold’s evolution into a defensively solid right back. He’s made 31 tackles this season with at least 2 in 8 of 10 games when playing at least 45 minutes but with him injured for this game, Joe Gomez is likely to deputise in his place. Gomez has seen just 55 minutes of league action this season but has made 5 tackles in that time and, therefore, looks well place to replicate Alexander-Arnold’s numbers.
Southampton are drawing 20.33 opposition tackles at home this season and their possession-based style should force Liverpool into having to make their fair share. 3 of their 6 opposition right backs in all competitions have made at least 2 tackles with James Justin of Leicester making 3 and Thomas Partey 4, demonstrating that Southampton can still draw tackles from the big sides. With Arne Slot’s emphasis on solidity at full back coupled with Southampton’s data and Gomez being keen to prove his worth, this again looks a great price for 2 tackles or more.
