Spain return to action at the Nuevo Arcangel Stadium on Tuesday night looking to extend their unbeaten streak in the Nations League. They now face a Serbia side, boosted by their 2-0 victory over Switzerland, now looking to close the two-point gap on Denmark in second.

Yamal has also been incredibly influential in the attacking third, and has registered at least one shot on target in every Nations League game so far. He had four attempts last time out against Serbia, and tested the goalkeeper on one occasion. Yamal also managed a shot on target in five out of six games at Euro 2024, to highlight his influence.

⚪ Veljko Birmancevic

Veljko Birmancevic has been a magnet for drawing fouls this season, with eight fouls drawn from just three Nations League fixtures. In that time, he has played at least 80 minutes in all three games, drawing at least two fouls against each of Switzerland, Denmark and Spain. In the latter match, he was fouled three times

🔴 Martin Zubimendi

With Rodri sidelined, Martin Zubimendi remains a target in the heart of midfield, as he has made at least two fouls in all five starts for the national side. The Real Sociedad man made two fouls when he faced Serbia in the reverse fixture, and recently committed two fouls against Denmark, as he is tasked with pressing strongly aiming to sustain pressure.

After a goalless draw in Belgrade to begin their Nations League title defence, Spain has responded strongly, with back-to-back wins against Switzerland and Denmark.

That was the first victory for Serbia in the Nations League so far, meaning they now sit third with four points.

• In his career so far, he has been the referee for five Nations League games, averaging 6.2 yellows per game. He has also shown two red cards in that time, and awarded one penalty.
