One of the main problems with the Ravens this season is just how bad their defense has been against the pass. We’ve seen teams passing on the Ravens for fun. They’re averaging 246.7 yards given up through the air per game, which sees them rank for the fifth worst record in the NFL.

I expected improvement from Caleb Williams in his sophomore season, but the results are fairly mixed, with some excellent performances and some less impressive. Despite all that he’s had 200+ passing yards in five of six games so far. So we’re taking this slightly lower alternate line than Williams 212.5 line. Given the weakness of the Ravens’ defense and the arm talent that Williams has, he should cover here.

Williams wasn’t the only Bear heading into their sophomore season looking for improvement, with Rome Odunze, looking to improve after a disappointing rookie campaign. Under new head coach Ben Johnson we’ve seen Odunze flourish, and has become a key part of the offense.

Odunze leads the Bears in targets (46) and receptions (24) and has averaged four catches per game. With that in mind I’m taking this alternate line of four catches, a number that Odunze should cash, especially given that he’s averaging 7.6 targets per game.

I’m doubling down on Odunze here. The Washington alum was electric in college and has finally broken out this season, following last year’s struggles. Through six games he’s found the endzone on five occasions.

Odunze has been the man in the passing game and his touchdowns make up five of the nine receiving touchdowns that the team have had this season. Williams has been looking for Odunze in the red zone too, with the wideout tied for the most targets inside the 20 on the team.

We’ve seen a slight decline in Derrick Henry’s numbers this season, coinciding with the team’s struggles. He’s only had two 100+ rushing yard games this season but despite that, he has still found the endzone four times.

With Lamar Jackson back in training and likely to return, it’s only going to open things up for Henry and he should get back amongst the scoring. Henry racked up 21 touchdowns last year and should hit big numbers again, even if they’re not quite at the number of 2024.
