All the talk at the start of January was that Callum Wilson would be on his way out of West Ham by the end of the month, only for him to play 90 minutes in The Hammers' first game of the month, and then score a late winner at Tottenham a couple of weeks later.

He’s only started one game since, but Wilson still knows where the net is when he gets minutes on the pitch, having scored five goals in 10.3 90s.

You would expect the FA Cup to drop down Nuno Espirito Santo’s priority list after a good run of results has seen their chances of survival skyrocket, and therefore, we may see a second-string line-up with some key players rested. 

Burton are 21st in League One, and have conceded on average 1.5 goals per game in the third tier, so a side of West Ham’s quality should be able to put them to the sword.

Richard Kone’s multi-million pound move to QPR has perhaps not resulted in the sort of goal return R’s fans were hoping for, but I think there are good reasons to side with him to contribute to a goal on Saturday.

The main reason being that opponents Blackburn are currently managerless and on a horrendous run of form, having only beaten hapless Sheffield Wednesday in their last 10 league games, and even that was only 1-0. They’ve also conceded eight goals in their last three away games.

Kone has scored only six goals in the Championship, and provided two assists, but the last four of those contributions have come at Loftus Road. His side have been pretty good at putting the poorer sides to the sword at home too, scoring four against Leicester and three against West Brom and Sheffield Wednesday.

Femi Azeez has been in excellent form for Millwall this season, having already surpassed the nine direct goal contributions he managed last season with seven goals and three assists so far this term.

He’s been in good form of late too, with a goal at Watford and assists at Coventry and Wrexham in his last five starts. You may have noted they all came away from home, and Millwall travel to Championship whipping boys Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, whom Azeez scored against in the return fixture.

Sheffield Wednesday have lost nine games in a row, and have not scored in their last 10 games. Their performances are getting worse rather than better, as is to be expected with such a depleted squad and no certainty over their future.
