19 year old Rayan has hit the round running as a Bournemouth player, after joining in January for around £25 million. I would say his impact to the casual fan may have come as something of a surprise, but Bournemouth seem to consistently unearth gems. They’ve done it this season with the likes of Amine Adli and Junior Kroupi, and with the likes of Antoine Semenyo, Illia Zabarnyi and Dan Huijsen.

Rayan looks like the next one set for big things, having provided a direct goal contribution in three of his four Premier League appearances so far. He also had three shots in the goalless draw against West Ham, almost scoring a wonder goal with one and hitting the post with another.

Sunderland are the visitors on Saturday. The Black Cats would be one point above the relegation if the league was decided purely on away results, having only scored six times away from the Stadium of Light. They have lost more than half of their games on the road and should be in for a tough afternoon here.

I put up Dango Ouattara last weekend, when Brentford drew a blank at home against Brighton, but I am sticking with him for their trip to Burnley. Ouattara did arguably have the best chance of the game for The Bees, firing over from a set piece from inside the six yard box, and also created two chances for his teammates.

Prior to last weekend, he had scored and assisted at Newcastle, and scored the winner at Villa Park at the start of February. He’s had a good season for Brentford, unexpectedly in my opinion as I could not see why they were spending over £40 million on a player who had failed to nail down a starting spot at Bournemouth.

Burnley have decent moment in the league, after coming back to beat Palace and draw with Chelsea in their last two games. However, they have not kept a clean sheet in eleven games in all competitions, so you have to think that Brentford will cause them some problems regardless of the result.

Mo Salah has not hit the heights of previous seasons, but I was surprised when looking through his data how many goal contributions he had provided. He has ten in total, and perhaps surprisingly more assists (six) than goals (four). Only thirteen players have more, and you have to take into consideration the chunk of time Salah has spent on International Duty (and briefly exiled). Only Bryan Mbeumo of the players who went to AFCON has better figures.

Salah has not scored in the Premier League since the 1st November, but he has supplied four assists in his last six starts. He usually fares well against West Ham too, scoring 13 times and assisting 7 times in in 18 appearances.

West Ham will fancy their chances against Liverpool I think, having picked up just one point fewer over the last five games, but their only away clean sheets this season have come at Burnley and Nottingham Forest, so most teams with top half attacking quality have found the net against them.

Erling Haaland has a connection to Leeds United through his Father, having been born there whilst his Alf-Inge Haaland played for the club in the early 2000’s. Haaland has only played at Elland Road once in his career, scoring twice during his first season in English football, which was also Leeds’ last season in the Premier League prior to this one.

He’s an obvious selection for a bet such as this, I won’t pretend it takes much expertise to put him up. But he is in great form, covering this bet in each of his last five starts.

Leeds have actually picked up more points at Elland Road this season than Man City have away from home, so they are no mugs, but City did put three past them at the Etihad back in November, and Leeds have only kept one clean sheet at home in their last eleven.
