Tunisia face the Netherlands, Japan and Sweden in Group F, and the African side are considered the weakest team in the group. Realistically, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them eliminated in the group stages, so one goal could be enough to win this selection.

Ali Abdi, who plays at left back, has previously taken penalties for Tunisia, and he could be the number one option for them this summer. Since VAR has come into effect, penalties have become a lot more common in the World Cup, which makes this price look good value.

Valverde has been given a lot more attacking responsibility since Alvaro Arbeloa took charge of Real Madrid, and he finished the campaign with nine goals. Valverde is the talisman for his national side, the designated penalty-taker, and he recently scored from the spot against England in a friendly.

If Uruguay are to make it out of the group stages, Valverde will have to play a key role, and he has shown a tendency to contribute in the big moments, scoring a hat-trick against Man City in the Champions League this season.

Viktor Gyokores didn’t quite hit the heights of last season, when he scored 52 goals in 49 appearances across all competitions, but the Swedish striker still managed 21 goals in 55 appearances in his debut campaign for Arsenal, which is not a bad return at all. With Alexander Isak hampered by injury, Gyokeres will be the focal point for Sweden in the final third, which makes this price stand out.

Enner Valencia is Ecuador's all-time leading scorer with 49 goals from 105 appearances for his national side. He is still going strong at 36, and Valencia scored all three of Ecuador’s goals in the 2022 World Cup. Once again, he is the undisputed number one option up front, and the designated penalty taker for his side. He added another six goals to his tally during the qualifiers, and Valencia is a player to target once again this summer.

Breel Embolo scored 10 goals in 34 appearances this season, but the 29-year-old really seems to come into his element on the international stage, and he will play a big role up front for Switzerland this summer. The striker scored twice in four appearances at the 2022 World Cup, twice in five matches at Euro 2024, and he added four goals in six appearances during the qualifiers, finishing as the top scorer for Switzerland in all three of those competitions.

Spain are one of the favourites to win the tournament, and they could score more goals than any other side in the competition. La Roja have been drawn against Uruguay, Saudi Arabia and Cape Verde, so goals should flow in the group stages.

Mikel Oyarzabal looks set to lead the line, and the 29-year-old is likely to be the designated penalty taker for the Spaniard, especially as Lamine Yamal has been struggling with a hamstring injury. Oyarzabal scored 18 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions this season, and six in six during the qualifiers for his national team.

Scotland will make their first appearance at the World Cup for 28 years this summer, and they have been placed in a tough group with Brazil, Morocco and Haiti. Scotland went winless at Euro 2024, having scored just two goals - one was an own goal, and the other was from Scott McTominay. The Napoli man will again be the key player in the final third, given a lot more attacking responsibility for his national side.

Tomas Soucek is another massive aerial threat, and he will hope for something more positive this summer after his West Ham side were relegated from the Premier League. Soucek will be a danger from set pieces here, where Czechia will have to capitalise, and he will be on penalties when Patrik Schick is off the pitch. Soucek accounted for one of three Czechia goals during Euro 2024.

Mohamed Salah has been the leading figure for Egypt over the years, but the 33-year-old scored just 12 goals in 41 appearances for Liverpool this season - the worst return of his career. Marmoush wasn’t given many opportunities by Pep Guardiola this campaign, but the 25-year-old looks set for a big role this summer, and his performances at AFCON were impressive. Marmoush was a constant threat in the final third, and he scored twice from his six appearances.

This is the shortest-priced pick of the list, but it’s impossible to look past Chris Wood here. He is New Zealand's captain and all-time leading scorer with 45 international goals, easily the best player for the All Whites. Wood has sat out large parts of the season with injury, but he has returned at just the right time, so should be in full fitness for the World Cup. Wood scored nine goals in five appearances during the qualifiers - Eli Just ranked 2nd with four goals.
