Level 1 Bet Builder Tip
🛑 Angel Gomes to Commit 1+ Fouls
📈 Odds: 1.50
Only Declan Rice has committed as many fouls as Angel Gomes in the Nations League B for England this season, and the Arsenal man will miss the trip to Greece through injury.
Gomes, who has featured in three of England’s four Group 2 games, has committed four fouls so far and with many of his senior teammates out through injury, the Lille midfielder stands a good chance of starting against Greece on Thursday. England committed 10 fouls in the October 2-1 defeat to Greece, their highest this season in the Nations League, and there is a good chance that Carsley’s men will give away a similar amount in Athens.
🎯 Fotis Ionnidis to have 1+ Shots on Target
📈 Odds: 1.83
Fotis Ioannidis top scores for Greece in this season’s Nations League B with three goals with the Panathinaikos striker being clinical in front of goal for his country.
Ioannidis, 24, has only taken four shots in his two appearances in Group 2 yet he boasts a 100% SoT ratio and three of those four attempts have ended up in the back of the net. The Greek striker has netted five times in 13 caps and heads into Thursday’s game with an SoT per 90 minutes ratio of 2.21 and an impressive goals-to-SoT ratio of 0.75, so you can see why we’ve backed Ioannidis to register at least one shot on target against England.
🧤 England Goalkeeper to Make 2+ Saves
📈 Odds: 1.57
One dilemma Lee Carsley has to deal with in his penultimate game in charge of England, as well as the injury crisis, is who to play between the sticks. Jordon Pickford has played in three of the four Group 2 games but has only made one save from three shots on target which makes for a save ratio of just 33.3%. Dean Henderson was given the nod to start against Finland following Pickford’s poor display against Greece and the Crystal Palace man faced three shots and made two saves which works out a save percentage of 66.7%.
Greece had as many shots as England when the pair met at Wembley (12) and registered three shots on target. We’d expect the hosts to have more goal attempts in their own backyard and we’ve backed whoever plays in goal for the Three Lions to make 2+ saves.
🚀 Anastasios Bakasetas to have 2+ Shots
📈 Odds: 1.62
The Greek captain Anastasios Bakasetas loves a shot at goal and we’re backing the 31-year-old to take at least two shots against England on Thursday night.
Nobody in the Greece or England squad has taken more shots in the Nations League this season than Bakasetas with the Greek midfielder enjoying 13 attempts at goal in his four starts. Bakasetas is the only Greek player to have reached double figures in the Nations League for shots taken with teammate Vangelis Pavlidis registering seven shots. Harry Kane is the closest to Bakasetas when you compare both camp’s stats as the England captain has taken 12 shots in his three Group 2 appearances.

Level 2 Bet Builder Tip
🥅 Over 2.5 Goals
📈 Odds: 2.30
At least three goals have been scored in five of the last six meetings between these two countries, stretching back to the 1989 friendly encounter between the pair.
Exactly three goals were scored when Greece beat England at Wembley last month and four of England’s last six matches across all competitions have produced over 2.5 goals. We’re expecting both teams to score on Thursday and Greece have been consistent in front of goal in the Nations League this season scoring at least two goals in each of their four group games so far. Three of Greece’s last six fixtures have witnessed at least three goals and we’re confident that three or more goals will be scored on Thursday night.
🥅 Both Teams to Score
📈 Odds: 2.00
Both teams scored when these two sides went head-to-head in London last month as Greece pulled off a shock 2-1 win against the Three Lions thanks to a brace from Benfica’s Vangelis Pavlidis.
We’re expecting both teams to score on Thursday night as Greece have scored at least two goals in each of their last five fixtures, while England have found the back of the net in each of their last six matches. Lee Carsley’s side have only managed to keep two clean sheets in their last six attempts and the England manager is without a number of key players this week due to injury.
🛑 Anastasios Bakasetas to Commit 2+ Fouls
📈 Odds: 1.80
The Greece captain Anastasios Bakasetas has come up in our bet builder for his love of shots but the 31-year-old seems to also enjoy committing fouls.
Nobody in the Greek squad has committed as many fouls as Bakasetas (6) in the Nations League B this season with teammates Llazaros Rota and Dimitrios Kourbelis in the closet on five fouls apiece. Bakasetas, who plays an attacking role in midfield has drawn five fouls in this competition but that still doesn’t take away from the fact that he has committed more fouls than even England’s most frequent foulers Declan Rice and Angel Gomes (4).
🎯 Harry Kane to have 2+ Shots on Target
📈 Odds: 2.10
It won’t come as a surprise to anyone that Harry Kane has taken the most shots for England in this season’s Nations League B (12). Lee Carsley could really do with a big performance on Thursday night from his in-form captain who has scored seven goals in his last seven games for Bayern Munich in the league and cup.
The England star has already scored twice in the Nations League B this season and boasts a SoT ratio of 50%. Kane averages 4.70 shots per 90 minutes in this competition and his SoT ratio per 90 minutes stands at 2.35, so you can see just why we have backed the England skipper to register at least two shots on target against Greece.
