The Champions League isn’t for everyone and with half of the Championship in action tonight and with this game being shown on Sky Sports I thought I would put together another Bet Builder article for you guys. Both sides are evenly matched in midtable and within touching distance of the playoffs making the result tonight at Kenilworth Road vitally important. While on this game it has to be mentioned that this will be a landmark fixture for legendary English manager, Neil Warnock. He has been portrayed of something of a comedy figure over the years but credit has to be given to the Yorkshireman with this set to be 1602 professional game as a manager in England. He will be hoping his players can put in a performance for him tonight against a very capable Luton Town side. You know the drill by now, below are my three favourite bet builder tips for the game tonight having used my own research combined with my trusty old cheat sheet. Good luck!
Luton v Middlesbrough Bet Builder Tips
Over 1.5 Goals
They may fly a little under the radar but it has to be said Luton are a very capable side and play some wonderful attacking football under the skilled Nathan Jones. The 23 goals they have scored so far this season sees them ranked amongst the top scorers in the Championship. As for Boro, well they are often thought as quite a defensive side under Neil Warnock and while that may be the case to a certain extent- 18 of their last 20 games prior to tonight have featured over 1.5 goals. Luton have a similarly impressive record with 8 of their last 10 delivering in this market and at odds of 1.33 I feel it is a reasonable value and a good starting point for our bet builder!

Fred Onyedinma to have 1+ Shots on Target *NOT STARTING*
Following their disappointing 2-0 defeat away at Preston at the weekend, most local sources suggest that Nathan Jones is likely to make a fair few changes to the starting XI tonight. One of those men set to come in is exciting winger Fred Onyedinma. He has struggled for regular game time this season but when he has been fit has been very impressive and registered 2 goals and 3 assists in just seven appearances so far this season. Onyedinma’s season has been disrupted by injuries, but it is clear to see that Luton have a player who will cause lots of problems for opposing defence this year. His pace is frightening and I fancy him to cause a relatively ageing Boro backline which should contain Sol Bamba (36) and Lee Peltier (34) plenty of problems.
His cheat sheet stats are impressive too, the most impressive of any Luton Town player and now back, fit and firing he is my first choice for a shot on goal tonight. 1.09 shots on target from 1.97 shots attempted are decent numbers and at odds of 1.57, he is most definitely my pick for a shot on target tonight.

Lee Peltier to be Carded *NOT STARTING*
We finish as we often do, with a booking and I love the look of veteran defender Lee Peltier to do the business this evening. No player in the Championship this season has received more yellow cards than then Middlesbrough defender who already has 6 to his name. Both he and Sol Bamba will likely start tonight and have a combined age of 70! They are firm favourites of Warnocks and whether they are capable of competing week in, week out at this level at that age remains to be seen. On the pair, Warnock said “It’s great to have what I call ‘proper men’ in my dressing room. I always talk about, ‘Who do you want in the trenches with you?’ Well, I’d like Pelts at one side and Bamba at the other.”
If by being a proper man it means being a dirty bugger then Lee Peltier certainly delivers. Referring to the cheat sheet you can see he ranks top for both fouls and yellow cards for Boro and up against a talented Luton forward line looks the best bet for a yellow card at Kenilworth Road this evening.
