CITY OF TROY is a confident selection in the G1 Juddmonte International Stakes at York, over the extended 1m2f distance. The impressive Epsom Derby winner was more workmanlike when landing the G1 Coral-Eclipse at Sandown last month. The Aidan O’Brien-trained dual classic winner may have not been as visually impressive that day, on soft ground, and is certainly expected to improve here, switching to a more galloping track, with a long straight to draw out his excellent stamina reserves.
Quick ground would be a big plus for City Of Troy, who is definitely the one to beat, if delivering anything like his best, receiving weight from his elders.
