The Red Devils have found some form since the international break. They have kept three consecutive clean sheets and might have found some defensive solidity. Erik Ten Hag’s men beat Southampton 3-0 away from home before dispatching Barnsley 7-0 in the EFL Cup.

The Dutch visitors started off the season slowly but have come into some decent form recently. Twente finished second in the Eredivisie last season but got dumped out of Champions League qualifying by RB Salzburg.
They then failed to win any of their first three league games before bouncing back with a 2-0 win vs Heerenveen and a massive 5-0 away victory at Almere City on Sunday. Twente’s biggest strength is in attack where they average 7.30 SOT per 90 mins and 13.86 xG in the Eredivisie which is the third most of any team.
At the other end of the field Twente have an xGA of 6.94 but only conceded five goals. In the Eredivisie, they’ve conceded 63 shots with an average rate of 0.11 xGA per attempt against. This is going to be a much tougher game for them though away against Premier League opponents in Europe.
The best correlation might be to look at their one previous away game in Europe this season in Salzburg where they conceded 18 shots, 7 on target en-route to a 1-2 defeat.
