📺

Arsenal host Monaco at the Emirates on Wednesday night in what should be a thrilling encounter between two top European teams.
⭐ Arsenal v Monaco Best Bets
Arsenal have looked like a different beast since the most recent international break and won 4 out of 5 matches convincingly. For the most part, the Gunners have become free-scoring again racking up impressive 5-1 and 5-2 wins v Sporting and West Ham respectively. Mikel Arteta knows the value of getting into the top eight of the Champions League in order to bypass the play-off round. They should be fully focused and fired up here at home and already beat PSG here 2-0 earlier in the campaign. Arsenal should win and win well. Monaco are not a bad team but there is a gulf in class between the Premier League and Ligue 1, so with home advantage taking the North London outfit on a -1 handicap looks like a wise decision.
🟡 Arsenal v Monaco #OddsOnThat Tip
- Saka has scored or assisted in 3 of his last 5 games and as mentioned, is already one of the best player props for the match.
- Odegaard scored against West Ham in a recent Premier League match and should be on some dangerous free kicks, aiding his chances of at least one shot on target.
- Jurrien Timber averages 1.20 fouls per 90 minutes in all competitions. It’s within his range to foul at least twice against a good technical side like Monaco.
- Getting Declan Rice to commit two or more fouls will be the hardest aspect here. However, Monaco are in the top 10 for most fouled teams in the Champions League and opponents such as Aleksandr Golovin and Lamine Camara tend to draw a lot of fouls.

👕 Arsenal v Monaco Predicted XI
🔍 Arsenal v Monaco Players to Watch
🔴 Bukayo Saka
Since the most recent international break, Bukayo Saka has been in immense form, scoring three goals and racking up four assists in the Premier League plus a Champions League encounter. Only a marginal VAR offside decision denied him a goal against Fulham at the weekend but he continues to look sharp and should have a serious impact on this game as well. He’s a huge threat and if Arsenal score a goal there’s a good chance he’s involved somewhere. Saka is also usually on penalty-taking duty which adds to his appeal.
🔴 William Saliba
Let’s start by stating the obvious; Saliba is in fine form and actually scored a goal in both of his last two Premier League games. Arsenal are well known for their set-piece prowess and he has benefitted from that in addition to the injury of fellow centre-back Gabriel. With continued doubts surrounding the fitness of the Brazilian international, Saliba could remain a key central piece of their corner and free kick routines. He is a big price just to have one or more shots here which looks well within his reach. Against French opposition, he’ll be keen to make his mark and easily capable of getting his head onto the end of a chance.
⚪ Maghnes Akliouche
This young Monaco talent has been strongly catching the eye this season and he has turned into one of their main starters. There’s a good chance barring injury that he will be on the field for most of the match which will maximise this prop bet. He looks a big price just to register two or more shots considering his average shots per 90 in Ligue 1 is 2.60 this season and 1.60 in the Champions League. Officially listed as often playing on the right-hand side as an inside forward, Akliouche could pop up anywhere in the attacking third. Monaco will get chances on the break and he might need to produce some individual opportunistic shots.
