Looking for goals bets for this weekend’s SPFL action? Our experts here at Andy’s Bet Club have you covered! Our SPFL geniuses have been crunching the numbers and analysing the lineup of this weekend’s SPFL fixtures and have put together a SPFL goals double that comes in at just over 6/4. Our SPFL goals double landed last week at odds of 2/1, so we’re going for back-to-back winners this week!
Hibernian have undergone a huge transformation in fortunes since their new boss, Nick Montgomery, took charge, including a 4-2 win that sent them through to the League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen in midweek. In League One, leaders Falkirk have been scoring for fun so far this season, their 20 goals being seven more than the league’s second-highest-scoring side. They have a tough game at Montrose, but with the visitors scoring 12 and conceding 11, there is no reason to expect that Falkirk’s goalscoring record will be slowed down here.

Hibs v Dundee
After a terrible start to the season, Hibs have got going again under new manager Nick Montgomery, with the momentum continuing in midweek as they overcame St Mirren to move into the League Cup semi-finals. Montgomery has instilled an attacking brand of football in his side, and the result of this should be a match with plenty of goals and entertainment.
Hibs adopted a very attacking 4-4-2 formation in midweek, which saw key man Martin Boyle play down the left wing and the exciting Elie Youan feature on the right. The net result was that they scored four goals against a St Mirren side known to be resolute.
This is a continuation of what had gone before it under the former Central Coast Mariners boss, who has seen his Hibs team score at least twice in each of the games he has overseen.
Dundee, meanwhile, are likely to find the going tough in this encounter, despite losing only two of their first six league games this season. They have struggled defensively in recent matches, conceding seven goals in their last three outings, including two each against St Johnstone and Kilmarnock.
As such, it is worth considering Hibs to win and over 2.5 goals at 6/4.
Questions remain over the home side’s defence, though, and with Dundee having scored four goals in their last three matches, backing overs looks the best value.
Falkirk v Montrose
It’s been a terrific start to the season for pre-season favourites Falkirk, with just two points dropped from their opening seven matches they sit top, however Hamilton’s similarly excellent start means they only lead on goal difference.
They put five past Kelty Hearts last weekend taking their tally for the season to 20, but this will be a tough test.
After a poor start, Montrose’s season is well and truly up and running following four consecutive wins which has elevated them to third, though they’re already seven points adrift of the league leaders.
Record signing Kane Hester scored for the third consecutive match last weekend in a 1-0 win at home to Stirling Albion and they can cause Falkirk problems.
Both sides finding the net is a runner and that bodes well for 2.5 goals, especially given Falkirk’s scoring record this season.
