A multipurpose seven-year-old who has raced on the flat, hurdles and is now racing in his first event over fences. Showing solid form since taking to hurdles in 2021, Kamaxos has raced 11 times over hurdles and has made the top three in eight of his 11 appearances, picking up two wins in his last five starts. Lightly raced over the last two years, Kamaxos missed the entire 2023 season, and after making his return in February this year and landing a win at Sandown by a dominant 16 lengths, he’s the sort that can run well after lengthy absences.

Returning from a six-month break here today after finishing third at Sandown in April, this shouldn’t be a cause for concern, especially when stepping down into a class three event. Showing a solid form book when stepped down in class, Kamaxos has won 50% of his starts when stepped down in class and looks a solid each-way bet for a bold return here today.

Heading to Kempton for the 16:30, our next free Hit Rates tip is URESHII, who has placed in the top four in 75% of his races.

A three-year-old colt who is lightly raced in his career with only four appearances but looks a solid candidate to improve further here today. After finishing fifth in his sole appearance in 2023, he returned in May to finish a close third in a competitive 18-runner novice stakes race. Finishing third on his next two appearances, Ureshii was a 6/4 favourite in both of these races and after a five-month break, his price looks to be on the high side.

Ureshii has only raced once on all weather, which came on his racecourse debut over 6f here last year. Staying on over 7f in his latest appearance in June, this step up to 1m on his return looks needed, and racing off the same mark of 70, he looks a solid bet at his price. Seeing some market support this morning, expectations are high.

Rounding up today’s Hit Rates at Kempton, our final free Hit Rate of the day comes in the 17:30, where we have NOTRE BELLE BETE, who has finished in the top four in 66% of his races.

A six-year-old gelding who has been lightly raced this year with only two appearances on turf where he has finished fourth and fifth, but his return to all weather here today is where he produces his most consistent performances. Racing nine times in his career on all weather, he’s the sort that can handle lengthy absences, and returning fresh here today, he looks a solid bet to improve his impressive record.

Making the top four in all nine of his all-weather starts and picking up four wins along the way, his big price today makes him an appealing sort. Producing strong course form here at Kempton, Notre Belle Bete has already won here over course and distance and has finished in the top four in all four of his starts here. Can’t be overlooked at his price today.
