Parnu JK v Nomme Kalju
🏟
Friday 29th July – 5:00PM KO
Parnu are now heading into their 3rd home league game in a row, the two previous games have benefited from a local youth tournament which has seen the stands being filled and creating an intense atmosphere. Unfortunately, the tournament will have ended by the time Kalju come to visit. Although a bumper crowd is still expected.
Parnu are struggling for wins, they were 3-1 up after 65 minutes against Narva 2 weeks ago and ended up losing 5-3. You have to go back to 6th May for the last time they picked up all 3 points with a 3-1 against high-flying Kuressaare. Some new signings have been brought in to try and aid the survival bid with Flora Tallinn striker Kiivit, who has 15 goals in the second division this season being the pick of the bunch.
Kalju head into this game after a doubleheader with struggling Narva Trans. Kalju were largely disappointing both games. Drawing 1-1 in the 1st game and conceding a 90th-minute goal in the 2nd game to lose 2-1. Kalju will see those dropped points as a huge missed opportunity to close the gap on 2nd placed Levadia and will be seeking to gain some momentum back against Parnu. With some favourable fixtures upcoming. Dropping points here is not an option.
Centre back Uke Korre will be missing through suspension and there are no injury concerns, other than that, Parnu will have the new signings available in Andreas Kiivit and Siim Aer. The well-named Ronaldo Tiismaa has found some form, scoring 4 in his last 3 games, Parnu will be hoping he can keep that up.
Kalju will be without the suspended Pavel Marin. Alex Tamm and Kaspar Paur are, as always, the key men for Kalju. Tamm has scored 3 in his last 4 and whilst Paur has gone quiet of late, this will be the kind of game he’ll relish in.
There have only been 5 meetings between these 2 sides. Kalju have won 4 of them whilst scoring an impressive 14 goals in the process. Goals are certain in this one, with Kalju likely to run away with it.

Tallinna Kalev v Narva Trans
🏟
Saturday 30th July – 5:30PM KO
Tallinna Kalev come into this a game on a run of 3 straight defeats in the league, albeit to the big 3 in the league, which has seen them drop back into trouble, now only being 2 points clear of 9th place Legion. There was a resurgence of form from the young Kalev side, going unbeaten for 4 games before the most recent horrid run of form.
Narva come into this one following an impressive back-to-back fixture with Kalju. Picking up 4 points in the process. Narva were arugbly the better team in both of those fixtures and will feel unfortunate to not have picked up maximum points in those 2 games. Narva were arguably the worst team in the league last month, having lost 8 matches in a row. They are now on a run of 1 defeat in 6, winning 2 and drawing 3. They’ve also started to find the net more regularly, scoring 10 goals in the last 6 games, compared to 15 in the previous 14.
Kalev, will be at full strength and statistically, have the 2nd most creative player in the league, Ioan Yakovlev, who’s 4 goals and 7 assits this year have helped Kalev massively and they’ll be hoping in he’ll be in top form here along with top scorer Foday Trawally.
Narva have some injury concerns. Ukranian striker, Oleksandr Kozhevnikov, who had scored 4 goals in his last 2 games before coming off injured against Kalju. Star midfield player Aleksandr Zakarlyuka will also be missing. Although a new German attacking midfieler, Cem Felek has joined the club this week.
This game could have gone either way a month ago. Kalev would have had their confidence dismantled in recent weeks, whilst Narva’s would have skyrocketed. Both teams have a lot to play for, with Kalev fighting for survival, and Narva now looking to close down 5th place Kuressaare.

Prediction: Narva Trans to Score Over 1.5 Goals, 1.57 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
