Drogheda United v Finn Harps (Premier Division)
🏟
Sunday 6th November – 7:00PM KO
Finn Harps fans were put out of their misery last weekend as their side’s relegation to the second tier was finally confirmed with a 3-1 defeat at home to main relegation rivals UCD. The Donegal men have lacked quality all season long while the traditional fight and desire you associate with Ollie Horgan-managed teams just hasn’t been there.
Drogheda United have been safe for many months now but despite that, they have remained competitive, particularly when some of the league’s bigger sides have come to town. Sadly, that was not the case last Friday as the Louth men were hammered 6-0 away to FAI Cup finalists Shelbourne.
With this being the final game of the season, Drogheda boss Kevin Doherty will want to end the season with some positivity going into the off-season and he’ll demand a response from his players.
Ollie Horgan hasn’t been able to get a tune out of his players all year long, hence why they are going down. Drogheda beat Harps 3-1 when they last met at Head In The Game Park and this looks a good opportunity to send the home faithful into the winter happy.

UCD v Shamrock Rovers (Premier Division)
🏟
Sunday 6th November – 7:00PM KO
UCD gave themselves a relegation reprive last week as they sent Finn Harps down and booked themselves a place in the promotion/relegation play-off against First Division play-off winners Waterford next week. Most pundits had UCD down as the bottom-side in the division before a ball was kicked this year so the fact they’ve given themselves a shot at safety says a lot about the fighting nature of the Students this season.
However, with all focus now on that one off promotion/relegation decider, UCD are likely to make wholesale changes as Champions Shamrock Rovers come to town. The Hoops put up a brave effort in Sweden on Thursday as the LOI champions ended their Europa Conference League campaign with a 1-0 defeat against group winners Djurgårdens.
Having put a lot into that game on Thursday, Stephen Bradley is also likely to make changes but the gulf in quality between not only Shamrock Rovers and UCD’s squad but Rovers squad compared to the rest of their league rivals is there for all to see. Any young players brought in on Sunday will want to try and show Stephen Bradley they can be an asset to him going forward and with the UCD Bowl likely to be packed with away supporters, Shamrock Rovers will want to put on a show.
After three meetings this season, Shamrock Rovers lead UCD 7-0 on aggregate and should end the season with yet another win.

Prediction: Shamrock Rovers (-2 Handicap), 2.0 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
